Jamie L. Parasiliti, N.B.C.-H.I.S., is the only Nationally Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist in Chautauqua County and the founder and owner of The Hearing Place, an independent, private hearing care practice based in Falconer, New York. With over 15 years of dedicated experience in the hearing healthcare industry, Jamie has built a reputation for delivering patient centered, cutting edge clinical solutions combined with a deeply empathetic approach to patient care.
As a Board-Certified specialist, Jamie offers expert clinical capabilities in comprehensive hearing evaluation, advanced speech audiometry, and digital video otoscopy. Her practice specializes in precision hearing aid performance outcomes, including speech-in-noise (SIN) testing, and the custom fitting, programming, and long-term maintenance of digital hearing instruments. Prioritizing patient continuity and comfort, she also manages specialized care services, including custom earmolds, advanced real ear verification, and comprehensive repair programs equipped with temporary loaner devices.
Jamie's professional approach is uniquely driven by her mission to serve others. She bridges the gap between expert patient care treatment and real-world understanding. This deeply empathetic perspective allows her to counsel patients through the emotional and practical aspects of hearing rehabilitation, ensuring that every solution is tailored to the individual's lifestyle rather than a standard commercial offering.
An active leader in the professional hearing health community, Jamie is a credentialed member of both the International Hearing Society and the New York State Hearing Healthcare Alliance. She serves as a member of the New York State Legislative Committee and provides advocacy for evidence-based best practices and integrates latest-generation acoustic technology into her regional clinic, keeping Chautauqua County at the forefront of modern hearing healthcare.
Jamie's mission to serve others goes beyond hearing healthcare only and she enjoys helping in her community and hosting charitable events like her annual "ice cream social". Her clinic is a hidden treasure of a LEGO museum as her hobbies are crafting and making things beautiful. Her personal motto is simply recognizing she is to treat others with a servant spirit.
